DATE: This Saturday, 10/24
Meeting place: Port Orford Community Co-op
People will need to drive their own vehicles out the bog.
Folks will need to be masked when we are in a group getting information. But once out on the bog you will be able to separate yourselves so that you won't need a mask unless you want to pick next to others.
You will be required to bring your own buckets, and you will be picking your own berries.
In the past, we have donated some of the berries picked to be sold at the co-op. Hopefully that can happen this yest.
What to Wear:
Waterproof rain pants for kneeling or sitting on the side of the bogs
Waterproof boots in case there is water in the bottom of the ditch around the bog
Layers to stay warm if it is windy or raining or layers & hat to stay cool if it is warm & sunny.
Bring your own snacks & water
This event is free, but donations for the Curry Watersheds Partnership's Youth Education Program will be graciously accepted!
